For only the second time in history both IHRA Summit Super Series Champs are from one track. Douglas Motorsports Park.

 Benji Thrift (Douglas Motorsports Park) with
that permanent smile. Broke in the finals of
the gambler's earlier in the week, then shoed a
rent-a-ride Chevy II for the first time ever, and
was the Super ET R/U in the main event!

Ya need the expanded view to read all of the dates and
tracks of Chip Horton's 29 Championships... Believe it
or not, I would call this as the deadliest car on the
property. I think that Chip only did NOT run
Dead-On TWICE all week, and didn't miss by
more than .01, all with dial-ins ranging from 8.11
(Wednesday) to 8.24 (Sunday).  Two of his
losses  were via red lights, one of which
was a -.004.
